About Distant Harmonies

Distant Harmonies is a Berlin-Barcelona based two man band created in 2019 by Jordi and Marky. They had already created the extreme metal band Black Tear years before, and 20 years later they decided to create a new musical project, overcoming the challenges imposed by the distance and united by their love for music. In 2020 they published a first demo which was followed by their album in April 2021, “Dancing with the Waves”, composed by a colorful mix of own creations exploring different genres, some of them instrumental, some of them with vocals, plus one cover, produced by themselves and published on most of the streaming platforms. Their music, hard to describe, goes from metal to rock, with several symphonic and progressive parts, without fear to experiment.

In September 2021 they published their 2nd work "La son", a conceptual EP about the sleep and the lack of it, that takes the listener to a journey across the different states of sleep: from a relaxed sate of mind to an unpleasant feeling followed by an eternal nightmare, through an special consciousness of the universe, ending with and impossible sleep.
